After the Success – Gothenburg Furniture Fair Continues at Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre

Despite the challenges posed by the current economic downturn, Gothenburg Furniture Fair has achieved great success, attracting a record number of exhibitors and visitors. It has now been confirmed that the fair will remain at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, following the signing of a new agreement with MIBO, the Furniture and Interiors Business Association.

Gothenburg Furniture Fair is a trade fair for retailers in furniture, interiors, and lighting for home environments. The fair has been organised since 2018, and after a hiatus during the pandemic, it made a comeback at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in 2022.

A long-term agreement now secures the continued development and growth of Gothenburg Furniture Fair.
– “We are pleased with the success of Gothenburg Furniture Fair, especially at a time when the industry faces challenges. Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre’s comprehensive solution, with everything under one roof, provides optimal conditions for both exhibitors and visitors. We look forward to continuing to develop this partnership and taking the fair to new heights in the coming years,” says George Makdessi, Chairman of MIBO.

– “When Gothenburg Furniture Fair returned to Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in 2022, the aim was to create a broader and more dynamic meeting place for the Nordic furniture industry. It has been a successful concept, and we now look forward to further developing the venue,” says Klas Petterson, newly appointed Business Manager of Gothenburg Furniture Fair.

Gothenburg Furniture Fair will be arranged from September 16 to 18, 2024.
